MX3 TAIL LIGHT PROBLEM

Hey guys i have a quick question

For my mx3 i just put on altezza euro style tail lights.
the tail lights work fine when i turn the car lights on and indicate, only problem is
when i press on the breaks only the right tail light will light up, and the left one wont. aside from that everything else works normal..

would u guys know why this happens?

Check your bulbs.

look at a wiring diagram and follow the wires from the battery to the lights, there is probably an open in the circuit sumwhere along the lines, or its grounded out and pinched which is completing the circuit and not letting the current flow to the taillight. but yes check the bulb too

Probably just the bulbs.

IIRC the brake light bulbs have 2 filaments in them, just because one works (as the sidelight) doesn't mean the brake filament will work. Swap the working bulb into that side to confirm this.
