I need to replace my rear wheel hub/bearing assy. 1992 gs, no abs. Now what I need to know is does the rear hub need to be pressed in? looking at the pictures of replacements I dont see how else it can go in.... can this be a diy job?
please help!

I thought the point was the bearing comes pressed into the complete assembly that you buy? Never done it though, so I wouldn't know for sure

Just replace the rear spindle. I know your taking a chance on another used bearing. But if you need a quick fix, there you go.

doesnt matter if its abs or non abs. same as front axles.
