So this is how it started. After selling my Twin Turbo Stealth for $6K to a friend after spending $14K on it was a mistake. lol So a 1994 MX-3 RS was posted on craigslist for $900. It reminded me the good old times that I spent fixing my mom's MX-3. So I ended up buying it for $600. Well the car was a POS, everything was bad on it! After changing struts, springs, engine, tranny, clutch, flywheel, speakers, and tires I said F* it! I'm going all out! I picked up a BP engine out of a 94 auto Protege. This is what I got so far for the engine

Engine-
-Full rebuilt kit (OEM w/ Toga performance main/rod bearings)
-Exintake cam mod
-Fidanza cam gears
-GSXR 750 ITBs w/ velocity stacks
-2nd gen BP header (ceramic coated)
-Megasquirt I V2.2
-Innovate LC-1 with B3 analog gauge
-Port and polished head

(I'm hopping for at least 120WHP. What do you think? Please vote in the poll thanks!)

Suspenssion-
-GS rear disc
-GS front frame
-GS steering rack
-Stainless brake lines

Exterior-
-Projector retro-fit
-HIDs
-GS front lip
-LED front blinkers, license plate, and 3rd light brake bulbs
-OEM black paint-job

I might of forgot some stuff, but I will keep you posted on what's going on!

Hey man. You're doing some really nice work, and it's great to see.

I just don't understand why you don't rebuild and drop a BP in there, instead of repeatedly messing around with the B6. It's pretty much a direct swap.

So all my pics that I uploaded to photobucket where moved to another album. Meaning this thread's pics where gone so... I edited.

Alright, here is where I am right now. My old engine gave up and broke an exhaust valve. I took out the engine and tranny along with the subframe, steering rack, and the engine harness. I'm repainting all the subframe parts and getting new bolts for everything.

I'm also waiting on my engine head, and thrust bearings since they didn't came with the engine kit that I ordered. I will post up pics. latter.
Right now I'm in the middle of a situation. I was told that the rods have to face a certain way. The rods that I have, have an H on one side and an upside down F or an E on the face of it. There are 2 of each. So do you think it matters witch way it goes?

Also, I got a 94 MX-3 F series tranny that I'm trying to make it fit on the BP. but I figured out that the half axel holes wont line up with the BP block. Am I supposed to use a G series half axel w/ the F series? Or use a 1st gen F series one piece axel?

I hope that which way the rods face doesn't matter because I didn't line them up a certain way with my B6DE rebuild. The online manual didn't mention anything like that so I think I am ok.

you should have painted it white ... in white you can spot very early when a tube or wire breaks 8)

That must be a custom intake manifold? Are you planning on turbo?
