A/C rheostat needed ....
I know most of you guys are on the other side of the pond, but this is probably a question for any UK users methinks ... <P>My air-con only seems to work on setting 3 & 4 ... 1 & 2 do nothing at all. This is a pain coz ye can only have the thing blasting ... or REALLY blasting. <P>Anyhoo, I've had the A/C resistor / rheostat priced and it's about £50 ... which seems a bit mad. I've phoned around most of the local breakers (in NI) without any luck as yet. Can any of you recommend a decent UK based breaker who might have this ?<P>An indication of how much you think I should hafta pay for this would be appreciated too. <P><BR>Cheers.
