Shorter rear springs than H&R?

I have H&R springs, and the rear is notably higher. Should I cut them?

Are there springs that are .5 in. lower than H&R?

Yeah...I've got the same springs and the same issue. I look at other cars on the road and envy how the front and back are level, regardless of how low they are.

Its seems most of the lowering springs available for the MX-3 provide more of a drop in the front than in the back. Why? I don't know. I think it's pretty gay.

You might be interested in the Intrax springs. They are supposed to give a 1.75" drop to the front and back. But they're designed for the V6. (Which I now know that you have after going back and reading your sig.) I don't know how great of an idea it would be to use one brand of spring on the front and another on the back. Might consider the Intrax all the way around. Hopefully someone else can comment on their experience with Intrax springs.

Another obvious option is the Ground Conrol Coilovers. Set the front and rear just as low as you want them.

The Eibach springs are slightly shorter. My black 94' sits real nice with them. I don't know how they compare to the H&R's for ride quality...but I find them just a little stiffer than stock. I wish I had gotten the MX-3 springs rather than the Escort ones, but they're not bad at all.

I never had a chance to compare the Eibachs and the stockers side by side, so I don't know if it's the springs or the combination of springs and struts, but my drop was perfect. About an inch front and back. Just enough to center the wheel just right.

Mine are for the mx-3, too. I stripped everything out of the rear, and thought maybe that made it raise up.
I'm totally happy with the ride. I just don't like the way it looks.

Haha. Naw.... I thought that SINCE I took weight out, the back is now higher. That still doesn't seem clear. The back is about .5" higher than the front right now, and I thought it was because of the weight I took out.

My B+G's didn't give me a level drop, my rears were almost tucked into the fender. My H&R's gave me a level drop; my front is just a tad lower, and my rear is a bit highter.
