squeaky??

Post by chertel »

When I drive slowly around a corner left or right there is an annoying squeaking coming from my front tires?? Does anyone know what it could be?
Thank you

Squeaking only when moving slowly around a corner, it is coming from the driver side. It only happens when in motion. I dont think it is the breaks but that is what it sounds like. And it only makes noise when it is warm outside? I took it to a mechanic and he took my car for a spin and couldn't guess what it could be so I made an appointment with him for next week and he will take the wheel of and see what it could be.
thanks

strut mount, outer tie rod, inner tie rod. it has to be something that moves as you turn. Or something that recieves pressure as you turn.

if it's a creaking sound, like the creaking that happens when... you're rocking the forest ;)
then it could be strut mount, control arm bushings, it could be the inner cv joint.

if it's an actual, "squeak, squeak, squeak" that happens with the rotation of the wheel, then it's your calipers, they're sticking.

it could be the dust shield that is rubbing against the rotor at low speeds.
