[WTB] Shifter boot and shifter assembly

Post by NorCalMX3 »

maybe both for less than 70 bucks?

my shifter fell thru the floor and the cause of it is because the two attaching points on the metal plate broke...

email me (kwoodboarder@comcast.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) or PM me! I'm located in cali area but willing to pay shipping costs.

I'm on a low college budget and need something that's cheap, but works.

Just go to a muffler shop, and have them reweld it back on. Like $20. Or get one of those anti drop brackets. $35. Or if your really cheap, you can make a bracket to hold it to the car.

All it is, is a bracket you screw on under the car, and it holds up the shifter assembly. You can make a bracket, or use anything to hold it up.

i talked to a few shops around town, none of em seem to think that welding it will do any good, i'd just as soon get a new assembly then try to jimmy-rig it.

what about those ebay short-throw shifters, does any know if that comes with the plate that attaches to the floor? i just want a working piece. and maybe now is a good reason to invest in one.
