CD Wiring

Okay so when i looked at the wiring diagram on here it was totally confusing for me.
So i looked up some more on the web...they weren't any help.
But i got a wiring harness and it kinda explained everything.

So if that drawing is confusing to you.
LG is Green
B is Black
P is Pink
V is Violet
W is White
L is Blue
GY is Gray
R is Red

The way they drew out the speakers is perfect.
But the other parts were really confusing.
So something else I had to get on my own was...

The Red wires are the illumination/dimmer wires.
The Blue with the black stripe is your main 12V. The wire to connect to on new CD players is Red.
The Blue with the red stripe is the "memory" wire. The wire to connect to on new CD players is Yellow (the one with the fuse).

For my CD player I didn't even use the illumination or dimmer.
I DID have to connect the ground (some sites say dont).
And the auto antenna (blue wire) from the new cd player was also unused.
