I'm wondering if the klde motor out of a Ford Probe GT is compatible with either the K8 1.8 V6 transmission, manual or auto?

should be. the engines are identical from the outside?

Yup, it'll bolt up to either just fine, but it isn't recommended to use with the atx

As the others have already said, it'll work just fine. I'm using my stock mtx with a DE and it works perfectly
