Dare I Ask?

I really want to change my username. when I made it a year back, I didn't intend to get sucked into all the forum fun! so i made the first name that came to my mind, and to be honest, i think its kinda pathetic. is there any way to change my name and not loose all my posts? or am I just aiming too high into the sky?

On most all of the forums i've been on, you have to PM the Admin and ask for a change and they change it up.
But, i'm not sure here.
