I bought this about a month ago for $600, it is a 92' Mazda MX-3 GS
the only engine upgrade i have done so far is a cold air intake.in the interior though i ripped the backseat out and replaced it with 2 12' hifonics brutuses. the door speakers were changed to 5 1/4 inch blaupunkts and 100 watt tweeters. then for the back speekers i installled 2 250 watt pyle 6x9s. And in my rear floorboard i mounted 2 1000 watt crunch powerzone amps.
i am planning on polishing the existing wheels, painting it metal flake black and other than that just fixing the little things that are wrong with it

Man I had a Orion box that looked like that.. the f***** was heavy!!! then I bought a custom box that had 2-10" 500w pioneers and 2-6x9 250W pioneers.. and that was like 3 times as havey.. I hated it.. every speed bump every bump killed the back struts... oohhhh but the sound.... still have the (4) 5 1/4 200W door speakers... not the same with out the boom boom though.. lol.. good deal on the car!!
thanks everyone, me and my cusin built this subwoofer box and its fairly heavy but not to bad i would say that with subs included it probably weighs at most 100 pounds. it doesent look to great at the moment either lol the side facing the front seat isnt evern carpeted we have been getting side tracked ion bigger projects. but most importantly it hits hard enough to incapacitate the mirrors and shake down the visors while still screeming loud enough with mid range and high range to make the bass not drown everything out.
the car was mostly so cheap becouse it had been neglected for a long time and left out in my boss's yard, she had never took proper care of it and just thought it was a POS. i thought it had potential though, the only major problems are that its in desperate need of maintanance and a valve job along with other minor problems. the entire cargo area has been reduced to bare metal, a problem i have almost fixed with some fiberglass resin, carpet, and dynomat. and the automatic seat belts were also shot so i ripped most of the assembly out except for the lap belts. i always hated shoulder harnesses anyway. other than what i have mentioned before the only realy custom measure i have been considering is replacing the original back hatch with a removable ragtop. my cusin makes them for his 4runners and we have been contemplating how hard it would be to fabricate one for this.
