If you search you will probrably find it , but I believe it was DE , but not 100% positive
It really depends on your setup too ..

I've search the forum approx 18 months back, with no obvious conclusion.
My setup is whatever mix of KLDE & KLZE as I have both.
What I think the best is:
KLZE IM
KLZE Pistons
KLDE Valve setup
& maybe KLDE Cams

I also have/but not all installed yet :
modded fuelrail with 390cc injectors
S-FMU Vortech
Megasquirt
S-AFC Neo
Wideband Lambda with logger
Walbro 255 fuel pump

Turbo T03/04 (0.63)
standard turbo piping with intercooler
+ oilcooler.

Gearbox is from a MX6 moddified with longer 5'th gear & Quaife LSD.

My goal is 300-320 HK in a daily driven car.

Each one of those is mutually exclusive.

Yes & No...
I've got the S-FMU because I wanted to stay with the original injectors and they don't support more than 7 psi.

MegaSquirt does it all with the Nissan 390cc injectors.

The S-AFC Neo I got for a very very good price at a "Total Sell-Out"

But back to the headline:

KLDE & KLZE ?

For the price of the S-FMU Vortech, you could of gotten some bigger injectors and not worry about fuel delivery. And it will support what ever boost you want.

Yes, Megasquirt does it all.

If your going to use mega squirt, you dont need a "piggyback" SAFC. And its not worth it in opinion. Get rid of the maf and use a map sensor all the way.

As for the topic at hand. I would opt for the ZE cams. I believe the intake side is better than the DE intake cam. And for some reason I think the exhaust cams are the same.

Good luck on your project. :D

piggy back systems are a waste of time and money..

even the POS SAFC that everyone one thinks is the shyt is a POS..

sorry for the harsh words but anybody is better off with a MS-II than the S-FMU and S-AFC Neo.. and safc-II there all junk..

but hey to each his own everyone has different views..

I think the best way to go would be:
ZE IM
ZE heads (DE valvetrain)
DE Pistons
DE Cams

ZE Cams i think would be best for N/A projects.
