Tranny upgrade help

Hey Guys, I'm hoping someone can give me the help I need.

I have a 96rs 5 speed. Like many others I have messed my synchros in second gear. I am planning a turbo project and have heard of many upgrades to the Protege tranny. Instead of messing another tranny, I'm looking into this swap. After a couple of searches I'm still unsure of the process. Is the tranny all I need or do I need to upgrade the DS and mounts?
