I have a mx-3 v6 and live in norway. Here in norway it's not a thing to buy to tune my car. Can you help me in what to buy and where to buy it to increase my hp and tourqe.
If I buy the turbo kit, what else do I have to buy for the pistons etc. to survive and what to buy to get the car to go good.

i hate to tell u this but it goes like this
UNLESS u have some kind of EMS, standalone u can not tune ur engine with out that system. reason why on my setup i can plug my standalone to my labtop and change my fuel curve and timing. IF ur STILL stock u can't do anything but do a tune up. meaning changing the cap/rotor, spark plugs/wires, air fliter and oil, oil filter general shyt like that. and pray u restore some lost power.

Ok, first of all EMS stands for Engine Managment System, and it is a program which lets you control timing and VRIS and stuff like that.
I suppose that by tuning you mean stuff that makes your MX-3 go faster. For the best bang of the buck you could check into the new engines like KLDE and KLZE. These will give you the most power for the least money, but you can forget about getting it registered with this engine in Norway.
Other than that you have headers which will free up some horses, and CAI which will make your throttle more responsive. Another good way to "tune" your car is to look at the suspension and shifting. A good set of dampeners and stiffer springs go a long way, and a short shifter will make you go faster into higher gears. Bushings and stuff like that will make you shifting and driving much more responsive as well.
All I can really say is: SEARCH this forum. It contains all the questions you have and much much more. You could check out the norwegian Mazda forum as well: http://www.mazda-ogn.org. There we are som MX-3 owners having our discussions as well.

Re: How to tune my V6?
If you are upgrading with a turbo, you need to upgrade your internals of your engine. You can upgrade your power and torque but you need to "overhaul""retune" your computer. If you change your fuel pump or anything to adjust power, you must change the computer reading.Blystan wrote:I have a mx-3 v6 and live in norway.
