merkur turbo ?

basicaly i was at the junk yard yesterday and a guy told me a merkur had a t3 turbo in it so i found one and no shaft play and it spins nice.. i dontno if its a t3 for sure so im jus checking if it will work good for a k8..also i need to find the collector pipe for the turbo and i cant find em on ebay can any one help me ?

i also found a turbo on a audi a4 model : K03-017 DD5028657
would that work also ?

from my limited knowledge yes it will work, as far as a t3 well maybe. It's deffinately an older turbo so its effecientcy wont be great. Its deefinately small so it'll probably be good for upto 7 or 8 psi, but might have some lag, age thing, older turbos werent known to have fast spool times.
