SRD Performance Is Going Out Of Business!!!!!

Post by greengoblin231 »

Hey guys,

I contacted SRD for some parts considering I just heard about them. I want almost everything they made , esp. the rear lower tie bar. Guy writes me back and says they are going out of business, stop making alot of stuff and what ever is left in stock is the last of it. We need to change this. I want people to be able to continue to get their parts and for SRD performance to be able to stay open. Who agrees their products are great. We cant let this happen cause otherwise I wont be able to find them type of parts anywhere then.

I believe he dont have the time anymore.
With family + auto-x`ing, work etc, time is a bit of an issue.
Luckily I managed to buy everything when it was available :)

ya, same here. i managed to buy everything offered minus the battery bracket because they had no more at the time. Luc's a great guy and it's sad that there isn't a market anymore for aftermarket mx-3 parts. all his stuff was pro quality and i'm sure you could buy stuff off people who are parting their car.

good luck man.

There are some SRD stuff on Corksport. Hurry though, since they won't get more stuff from SRD.

Nyloil Bushings. These are really good, same concept as bronezoil, but a little cheaper and just as good.

Sad tho, I was planing on getting a front crossmember and rear tie bar in spring, but unfortuantely that happened without notice, and I haven't been able to source one any other way.

Too bad Luc is folding the operation but kinda understandable. His stuff is first rate quality and was great to see it be offered by a serious MX-3 tuner too.

Anyone with a 2x12"-CNC lathe could continue this project with the G-Code's ...or rewriting it..

Any idea where one could get one of the rear tie bars? I have not checked eBay, but was wondering if there was a supplier that still carried them. Corksport does not have it listed any longer. Also, for those who have them, do they make a noticeable difference? Thanks.

I did not see all of this back when it was originally posted...sad...

and while I am sure someone eventually answered your question, Jimbo, just in case: Yes, I have the rear lower tie bar as well as the towers in the front and back and it makes a hell of a difference.

I had them all put in at once so I cant speak for the specific difference or each part, but once it was all in, it was like night and day.
