ANYONE here know about nos?
ANYONE here know about nos?
i'm getting a v6 mx3 this weekend. i never liked nos, but since this v6 engine is just to playaround with i was woundering of doing a direct port nitrous on to the v6. i want to do this cuz i got a klze just sitting in my mx6. the mx6 done work( electrical problems) and before i blow the k8 engine i want to put on nitrous. my brother has a 50 shot of it just sitting at his house. he is willing to install it in my mx3. so will it be able to handel it? i heard all i do is drill three holes on the manifold legs and thats it. so will the engine be able to hold the nitrous pressure?

I'd assume the K8 could handle it about as well as a KL engine. 50 is a good start and as high as you want to go if it's a dry setup. If it's a wet shot, you'll have a little more flexibility.
KLZE/KL31 ecu/Pacesetter headers/track pipe cat delete/2.5 inch custom exhaust out to fart pipe/warm air intake for now
/Fidanza 9lbs flywheel/Stage 2 kevlar road racing clutch which still slips/stock wheels/BFG KDW-2 tires. Looks bone stock
There are those who claim to be street racers, and then there are those who claim the streets for themselves. I am not a street racer. I am a StreetSweeper.

Well i dont wanna sound like a punk a-- but you don't seem like u have ever used nitrous.
Your not gonna be doing a "Direct port" as that would require u to tap all 6 runners and run 6 nozzles.
You also said something about drilling 3 holes..WTF is that for?
Is it a wet or dry kit your brother has? And either kit will tap one hole about 6" away from your throttlebody
