If it were a properly tuned H22 he should have walked on you, but he didn't and you kicked his arse. Good job

It was probably a stock Prelude VTEC, you dont get much better tuning than factory. It would have to be a hell of a great tune to walk a ZE MX-3 and more often than not we are not tuned properly. We dont even use the proper ECU.

dunno if i agree with that, based of the dynos from when chris dynoed his, wasnt his hp output higher, and the prelude is a much heavier car around 2800 i believe. And you know you could spank some h22 pat :)

there a vid on google of sabrewolf racing a h22 prelude and he woops him every time.

My buddah has a h22a civic and im right behind him.
He runs 13.8 I run 14.4

Prelude is much heavier... theres no way.

I got american ECU so i got a bit of a lag....

I raced a 2001 prelude with my stock gs and from stop till the end of 2nd gear (100km/h) i was ahead (not by much, his front bumper was next to my rear quarter panel). Once we hit third it beat me easily, so i would say a klze mx3 would kill a prelude.

I have beat many h22 preludes... the only one that gave me a run was a supercharged one at 7psi and it was about even
