Nitrous

hey guys i have a 93 mx-3 gs i want to swap the motor to klze or bpt not sure yet but i want to make the gs fast first just for fun i am thinkin i can run about a 50-75 shot not direct port what do u guys think or dont you think i should even bother with the stock motor and just got to klze or bpt

Hope your clutch isn't stock, cause if it is, i wont handle it

Stock clutch + Nitrous = Bye bye

Get a clutch first

As for your question, I dont know anyone around here who has Nitrous on a MX3

Uhhhh.It has everything to do with the clutch...power goes from the engine to the transmission thru the CLUTCH. I had a 50 shot on my car and I think about the fourth or fifth time I used it...smmmookkkeeedd the clutch. Definitely get an ACT clutch or something good.

Get a good clutch. Buy a ZE. Then put a 100 shot on the K8 and blow the hell out of it. I mean you'll have hella fun while it lasts. At least I would. Thats something I wanted to do but didn't. I was just curious as to how much abuse the K8 would take. Plus you can take the clutch off the K8 when your done and use it on the ZE.

I have ran nitrous fo years... :D

i have a KLZE and have it on a 100 Shot Wet...man this cars hauls a--..haha

I'm pretty sure the K8 could handle a 100 shot of nitrous too..i personally never tried it, but i did run a 125 shot on my ZE once.. :shock:

well that is cool that the ze held the 125 shot, is the ze built? on the k8 im pretty sure i could run a 75 shot, they run 75 shots on stock honda b18. Does any one here now what the compression is of a k8

Compressio on the K8 is a 9.2:1

No my KLZE is not built...all stock.

i think everyone is giving the k8 to much credit it is the weakest motors of the k series motors, even at low boost they have blown

spoken like a true noob to the game. Welcom I wouldn't reccomened nitrous on k8 without fuel pump n clutch minimum, possibly some axles but stock drivetrain wont put up with it 4 long.

And why do you want to run Nitrous, but is it marked in your signature that "air is free go boost"?
