BP oil pan stuck

Im trying to remove my oil pan for my new tapped pan and cant get it off i got all the bolts but one should i grind this stripped bolt off?

and then when that bolt off do i just pry off the pan or whats the best method?



i hope sumone knows not like all my questions that get left unanswered

If its stripped use some vice grips on it or some form of heavy plyer that can get grip, from there just pry the pan off. Grinding off the old bolt will mean you have to remove whats left of it from the old motor as well, or risk haveing a potential weak spot for an oil leak later.

You might smack it once with a dead blow but eitehr way it should not be to hard to remove.

Get a bolt extractor kit - it has helped me a lot in the past - best $30 investment.
