Hey there. I bought exactly what you want off a GS at a local auto salvage. If it doesn't fit my 4 cyl (half say yes-half say no) i'll sell it to you 'cause i'll have to buy a brand new one at Mazda. I'll let you know in the next few days. (if you don't find one sooner)....ttyl...Rene

hey man, <BR>i just had that part replaced. don't buy a used one from junk yard, go to the dealer.<BR>i got mine for $85, and it was a special order.<BR>now it shifts like new

That's a reasonable price, but it's not just one part i need, it's two. There is the shifter w/assembly and stabalizer (1) and then there is the shifter linkage (2) so there are two parts. Did you get BOTH replaced for $85 or just one?

oh, sorry, i only got one replaced, the one that attaches to the floor with 4 bolts. <BR>didn't have to replace the other one, just the bushings were gone.<BR>What's wrong with your old linkage?

I am doing a auto to manual swap and I am using a parts car that was in a wreck to supply me the parts. Everything on the wrecked car was good execpt those two pieces. They are bent.
