BP swap question

Post by 94blaze1.6 »

Hey guys I have a 94 rs dohc and I am planning on doing a pb swap. I have done a swap before on my friends crx (first gen) and it was fairly simple. From what i understand its fairly simple to do on our cars if you have the sohc but I have the dohc so its supposed to be more difficult (not plug and play).
I need to know what the finer points of this swap are and any advice at all. Thanks for the help

Mike

PS. ANY LINKS TO HELPFUL TREADS WILL ALSO BE APRECIATED.
95 RS so far just a paintjob, rims suspension next then turbo...

You can find a lot with searching but its a fairly simple swap still. I purhcased a whole front end clip of a protege, this made it easy because i had full wirirng harnesses as well as other odds and ends. The interior harnesses are plug and play with the protege ECU but you need to convert over to a gauge cluseter from a 92-93 to have a cable speedometer.
