Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

Found this hanging loose by my air filter. Is it the thermistor? Where's the best place to bolt it to?
I noticed its got a Mitsubishi sign on it(see in red circle, below)... not had the car long, is this an upgrade I should be aware of?

That looks like one of the vaccum solenoids - info about the engine, year etc might be helpful

somone who has a v6 may be able to give a better answer - but for the moment i think it just needs to be bolted secure somewhere.

yah its not an upgrade its just a standard part of the stock intake system.. not entirely sure what it does but mine is just hanging loose it aint going anywhere..
