EGR TEST

How can I test my EGR Valve apart from taking it out for inspection? Should the stem move when I rev at idle because mine doesn't!
The EGR valve is actuated when it gets fed vaccum. Under certain conditions it wont be functioning.
Did you fail an emmisions test by chance? a high NOX reading tends to be the EGR not funcitoning, if anything remove it from your car and see if its clogged and that the diafram actuates when under vaccum.
