On the sliding sunroof, of my 93 GS, the outter rubber insulation as it wraps around on mine, its stops within the top area, leaving an INCH of seperated insulation. im thinking this could be from old age and has streteched apart, or mb its just normal!. what do u guys say?.

It's normal, Mine has that gap and there was a discussion about this a month or 2 back. Even though there is a gap, it should still seal fine in wet weather. I've never had any leaking no matter how bad the rain.
