kl-02 vaf w/k8 ecu

im using the k8 ecu in combo with the kl-02 vaf im just wondering if im supposed to get a code from diagnostics? im getting the vaf code and the intake temp sensor along with 02 inactivation and inversion codes

No. It shouldn't generate any codes. Try clearing the computer and drive for a week. Then try pulling codes again after that week.

yea i thought it shouldnt come up but it did happen after the install well not long after. j/w im not worrying about it

hey when u did that swap... did the KL 02 vaf have the same connectors?? like no electrical head swappin
hey all im a new 92 mx3 gs owner... had a permance clutch but he blew the head gaskets when i bought it.. and theres a lower kit and exaust system.. so i guess i got a okay deal.. but damn wait.. just Dropped in a KLZE engine from japan

love that nick.... dropped in a ZE and DAMN!!! LOL

we all did that.... I drove a K8 after my daily ZE driver.... NO comparison!

I am running the K-8 ECU and the KL-02 without any prolems at all.. before when I had the JE 50, it would run super rich..

Precidian, you still got your JE-50 VAF? I'm looking to buy one or trade my KL-02 VAF for a JE-50 VAF.

precidian, how come you don't experience pinging? I've tried the KL02 and get lean mixture and pinging when appying load. what are the other components of your air/fuel setup?
