KLZE and inspection

i am looking into getting an mx-6 and it has a klze in it does anyone know if i would be able to pass inspection with that motor in the car. and also how can i tell for sure its a ze and not just the stock mx-6 motor

hmmm u could run mx6 hot rod but it sohuld be fine ......... lol wanan but my mx3 hahaha i just got a kit on it and a new paint job and it has a ze
hey all im a new 92 mx3 gs owner... had a permance clutch but he blew the head gaskets when i bought it.. and theres a lower kit and exaust system.. so i guess i got a okay deal.. but damn wait.. just Dropped in a KLZE engine from japan

do you know if that would work in new york cause i read a post about that working in canada

the ze is basically the same except the hp. the only thing you should be conserned about is the fact that the egr is no longer being used if the ecu is alwready chipped. in my opinion if its not their will be no real diffrences when getting a smog check. As for as your engines max power you will need to spent the $30.00 getting the chip or their is no point having your ze. go to the junkyard and get a second ecu. 1 for a smog check{without chip} and the second to have chipped for maximum power.
[fs] 92 MX3 gs 2.5 klze v6, Intake, Exhaust,drop zone spring{awsome},Turbo, Splitfire plugs, fmu, gauges ,drilled slotted rotors ,motegi rims,tires,Blackout lights, and a nut behind the wheel~~ so far.
