STUMPED - ZE head codes?? uh??? yes i read faq

Ok i cnfused...buddy has a ze.. heads read kl-101 or somethign like tat..cam is kl-01 BUT IT HAS square runners and has a REAL ZE IM.. got it from nipon... now its notam de right? what is it? engine code - KL.... can someone clarify?

well according to there... its a newer version de... but it came from nippon..so um they basically send an engine pretending to be a ze? I found a few sites i just wanted to double confirm..

Sorry but if the Heads say KL01-101 and KL01-1A1 and have rectangle runners, and having KL-01 Cams, and i bet this is a Curve neck Manifold. The engine is a newer Mazda Millenia Engine. rated at 170 HP. It is NOT a ZE.

Both KLZE have KL31-1a1, KL31-101 Heads, and one has KL-31 Cams, the other is KL-01 cams. One has a straight neck manifold, and the other is a curve neck both with rectangle runners.

One question for you, the engine u got what stamping does it say on the TB KL-47 or KL-68?? Let me know that.

well mine is a kl31 101 cams kl 01 cams kl68 tb......so its a curv neck ze right???? this is the one we were asking about .... how many hps should this have

You have the Eunos 800 ZE (J-Spec Millennia) engine with the higher (195) hp rating.
