The new GS i picked up a few months ago has had a huge problem with water pooling on the driver side floor board.... i am not sure where exactly it is coming from.... it seems to be on the extreme left side near the front.... could there be a problem with the dain from the sunroof? or is it likely a leak in the windshield? and how can i find out?

I have a similar problem, when it rains heavily water gets in, it drips off the pillar on the front driver side, so it pretty much falls on my knee when I'm driving. Not sure where its coming in though.

pull your headliner off its probably a leak hose from the sunroof draining tubes

the first thing that came to my mind was heater core, but now that i think about it, i think its on the passenger side of the car.

I have a similar problem with my 92 RS. It's leaking from the top part of the windshield.

any suggestions on how exactly to locate the leak? i have the interior almost completely gutted going to try and get the dash out this weekend so i would assume it shouldn't be too hard to find the leak once everything is out...

My guess would also be a sunroof drain hose.....if you have the headliner and a-ppillars out you can see the 4 drain hoses and where they go

I had the same problem. It was the sunroof drain hose. It ends up above the mud guard. It's supposed to go out through a hole, but my hose was loose and all water went behind the fuse box instead. So, remove the floor mats and go behind the fuse box. You should see the hose there.

US markets have the Fuse box on the left hand side.. what your looking for is on the RH side. :)

why would i be looking on the right hand side for a leak on the left hand side? and it appears the sunroof has hoses going to several areas not just the front left but it has one for sure going to the front left and could end up behind the fuse box so i'll try and get back there to look this weekend

just for curiousities sake, but why would they use 4 little hoses, instead of 1 big 1?

if they had one you would have some water stuck in the sunroof and rust power would emerge.

i think i found it the hose seemed to have complete come out and was facing inside of the cabin of the car so i felt around and i think i put it back where it belongs... we'll see
