Yes it can be done, but a good deal of fabrication will be needed.

well... i just bought one, and its going to be one redicusouly tight fit. the exhaust manifold it going to have to be modified to get it to fit.

Adam, refer to your other thread about your recent acquisition. I believe you've been duped as to the exact type Eaton S/C. Your pic shows an M90 I believe and is Way way too big for your 1.6L engine. Sees your other thread with pics and info regarding correct M62 and applications.

i wanted to go with a SC bad, but just so easer and so much more potential with the Turbo. but the SC is just so reliable. one could always buy a Jackson Racing kit and throw on a Miata manifold. i would love to see you get this fitted on and get some numbers.

Yes, I agree with Josh, it would however be nice to see if you could make it work effectively. I didn't want to rain on your parade but hought it best to bring out some other info just in case you got over your head too fast which would = lost money. Nobody likes it when that happens or finds out that they wish they knew stuff ahead of time and could have saved themselves a lot of grief, aggravation and $$$$. But hey, maybe this puppy will work for you, you never know.

Trust me, it will cost a lot of time and $$$$.
I'm nearly finished with my setup and ones I get it running it will be worth all the effort.

hyperman, sounding good. Keep us up to date as to your progress please. Spinkx79 and myself are very interested in how your shaft kit set-up will work compared to Eric's (Adlorin on Probetalk) (Mr Speed.biz).

Hey I have no clue whether this could work or not...but what a mini cooper SC? Wouldn't that be a good sized supercharger for our cars?

You'll probably be able to answer your own question by going through the links a posted ealier. Certain SC's are geared proportionally to ceratin engine displacements. That's why the M62 is approximately the best choice for a SC for a ZE engine.
