just to make sure those clocks hec and i raced on were off what should a ze clock on the 1/4 mile i crossed the line at about 95 mph i kept on getting 15s. Just if you'd be courtious enough to post your times yeah..... that would be cool. 8)

15s seem to be popular with the ZE's
WTF?
I thought a MX3 with a ZE would be able to atleast get a mid/high 14. Thats of course, with minimal swap (stock clutch, exhaust, flywheel, ect)

What The F*** mann my last ze was so much faster and i ran it on slicks and a k8 ecu and my highest times were 14.9 my lowest was a 14.3 would that be it right there the ecu.......im gonna use my G-force drag radials i just got and see how it goes but to slip that much from a 14.3 to high 15s...... is that possible

I say slap back the klze ecu in there, slap new tires, get the millenia throttle body because the k8 is smaller and that should give u some 14s. Also mx3 clutches are notorious for slipping at high rpms and us not even knowing (been researching a bit)

i know that millenia manifold will throw it down with extra ponies not too many but yeah... but then in again consider i ran the stock k8 manifold with the last engine ...... so throttle body?? tires??? or ecu????

Also consider altitude and ambient heat. Try icing the IM between runs, and if you're really ambitious, you could take off your belts for a run & remove the battery. My car runs 98% better in Portland than it did in Houston.
