KL-DE

Hey what I am looking at is swaping to a KL-DE but fist do they have potential and how much boost can they handle being stock

I think they can handle 280- 300 whp stock, rebel2k is the guy to talk to

try using the search on stuff like this first. the kl-de only has potential if ur boosting if ur going n/a they dont respond that good to mods the only way to get good strong power is boosting

They have a lot more potential than the k8 does thats for sure. I have one and I love it. It has about the same torque as the ZE has as well, so you can get them pretty cheap and be about as fast as a ZE. I dont really know what fieromx3 was talking about them not reponding to mods, but like everyone said they do run great with boost.

Didnt Rebel2k change his pistons recently? I thought he mentioned something about putting in Mustang rods along with pistons from some twin turbo car.

when I get the DE in the car should be in a week my plans are to boost it my brother has most off the stuff to pull it off. all I need to do is find a turbo and intercooler. hope to have it all done by summer. whats a go turbo to go with? are the intercooler any go on ebay?

they dont really intake and exhaust would be noticeable same with an intake manny from a ze but other than that nothing is really noticeable also i have heard of that too but it does got tonnes more potential than the k8 and respond extremely well to boost. they do respond pretty good to mods but not nearly as much as they could like alot of other cars do im not really saying that they dont react to mods at all or anything

u should post this in the forced induction forum as u might get more responses and help in there. it depends how much power u want and how much boost ud like and how much money u got to burn give details and also do alot of reseach on turbos
