fuel warning lamp

on the jspec 1.5 '95 mx3, is there a low fuel warning light? my needle just seems to drop way below the line without a light coming on. i have not yet let it run fully out of fuel...
is there definatly a low level fuel lamp?

My AZ-3 defo has one; noticed that when I first bought it, cheap bastard had no fuel in it... had to take a fuel can with me...
