sub box position

Post by Legato626 »

I have a big box for my 15in BMF. But I would like to get a rear strut bar in there. WITCH IS NOT HAPPANING with that box! But instead of the box aiming at the back of the car. Would it sound any different if i just stand it up on the back and aim it to the window? Doing this I can get a rear strut bar in then.

If i were you i would try both arrangements and go from there. IMO nobody else is better qualified to evaluate your sub/enclosure dynamics for the type of music you like and the position of your ears in the car. By the way my 12" xplods are facing the glass because the other arrangement makes the plastic panel vibrate - it was either reorient the subs or superglue the panel to the metal (nothing else worked).
