Boost vs. Emissions

Just wondering if any of you guys with boosted motors are having any problems passing the emissions test??

I had the same question.
I'm also curious as to how it effects gas milage?

matters, for the most part yes, you have problems.

easy way to pass emisions is set up some kind of blower system into the exhaust, it will do wonders for emissions... i've seen some ford v8 engines that have that stock

Or just leave a $20 on the dashboard.... No matter where you live there is always one of those shops...

all you have to do to pass is either swap in some small injectors and cut boost way back, and install a normal restrictive kat, and you should be fine.

Not sure what the rest of the country is like, but out here in Cali we have to undergo a visual inspection as well as the sniff test (which is supposedly also compared with some sheet to make sure the results match the type of car.).

Emissions what's that? We have them but not in every county, just make sure you have a family member that lives in one of those counties that doesnt have them :)

20 dollars? I think the going rate to pay to pass is 100 now
