Mazda plans to make new Mx-3
saw it in one of this month's car magazines. i forget which one but i will buy it by the end of this week, scan the photo/article. they quote that it will be based off the "Kabura" concept car. will feature 2 engine options, one turbo i believe. more updates soon. will google for pics in the mean time. i'm hoping for a 2008 release, so i know what my next car will be, sweet.

i wouldn't consider it old news. Any news of a 2nd gen. Mx-3 is good news. I doubt that Mazda will release the Kabura as a street car, its a concept, and will stay a concept. But this concept will give birth to the new mx-3. just like the eclipse concept and its street version, you'll notice changes of course. eg. front and rear lights/bumpers, cosmetic changes. Chances are Mazda will want to have a car to compete with the Civic Si coupe, G6 coupe, Cobolt SS, and even the Golf GTI R32. the Mazdaspeed 3 should be around the corner, but its a 4-door, we need a 2-door coupe, we need the Mx-3 back, i'm sure a lot of people feel the same way.
It's just a matter of time.

I agree that we need the MX-3 back, just not looking like a Kaburu.Postman2K wrote:i wouldn't consider it old news. Any news of a 2nd gen. Mx-3 is good news.
