Post by MX3parkerGS »

Hey guys, i need to know this ASAP, i know what the codes should say for a KLDE, but where do you find them at? I need to have this guy take pics of it for me to make sure. But i dont know where to tell him to find them at?

Thanks in advanced! Parker

There should be a code on the side next to the power steering pump. Then there should be a VIN-like plate on the rear of the motor about half way up on the short block.

Or are you talking about the head codes?

Uhm, whichever ones are the ones to tell if its a DE, or a 1.8. He claims its a 2.5 but has the 1.8 IM on it still.

You can also look inbetween the runners at the rear face forward head and should say either K801, Kl101, etc.
