So How many of us MX-3s are left?

Post by rayrrod »

Seems like every year its less and less of us.

How many of us are left compared to last few years?

Was thinking of getting a new ride, ie 95/96 GS stick but now am re considering
maybe a:

0. 95.96 MX-3 GS stick
1. RX-8
2. Hyundai Tiburon
3. Geely china dragon ( due out in 2 years or so)
4. Small SUV, ie Kia Sportage.
5. Mustang looks good but not my ride

Would not mind going with a 6 cyl instead of the current 4 cyl

Still have my 93 Geo Storm GSi, 4 cyl

While I am older than most of you, 57, I am still single (still crazy after all these years). No kids so I dont need a sedan.

ya mx3 would suit you I think. Mx3s are dying every day, most of them end up parted out or in junk yards :( hope you take care of one if you get one

i would go with a 2006 Rx-8 6-speed, people dont like them for there power output and extra 2 "doors" ... but they can be modded like everything else if there isnt a turbo kit now there will be, the doors dont bother me and its just a friggin awesome car imo

Man you are almost 60 its time to splurge :lol:

Last time I counted, there are just over 17,641 MX-3's left in North America.

The rest have gone to the great Junkyard in the sky.

Totally kidding, BTW.

Well you can always buy anyone of those cars ... but keep the MX .. such a fun car ... I know you'll miss it if you got rid of it.

"RID" is such a harsh word. LOL

But if you haven't driven a GS yet ... hmm keep the 4 and get a GS. Why not eh!

Don't get a Tibby. Hyundai is the second most expensive car to own for the first five years. Behind Land Rover. They say the parts are astronomical and that is how they sell them so cheap. Also, they are underpowered for the engine size IMO.

The RX-8 would be fun, but I think there are better cars to be coming out soon.

The MX-3 is cheap, fun and pretty economical. It is fast and fun and you won't see many on the roads. There are plenty of powerful motors that can be swapped into the MX-3 that will make it more than competition if that is what you are looking for.

I still haven't driven a car that I think is more beautiful or graceful than the MX-3. I REALLY wish Mazda would make a new one so that I would have an easier time buying a lesser milage daily driver.

But what did you really expect the answer to be from a MX-3 web forum???

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Kabura;

But I think it's time to look at something that's made it's mark, still holds it's mark and probably will for quite some time;

I have been talking about the Kabura plus if some of are members go and look in the future mazda model forum there is a big forum about it in there. And i hope they make it to because its a 190 MZR V4 eng. thats RWD and IT MIGHT be lighter then the miata.
