turbo is back

Post by goldsberry1 »

i just got my turbo back in and working. right now its at 7 psi this is the first time i've really got to feel my cars pwer since i built it. the engine has just over 3500 miles on it now so it should be safe to boost it some. before i start turning up the boost i want to add a mega squirt and water inj and rebuild my spare trans. but for now 7 psi is fine to play with until i can get the rest. i figured out why it was smoking like crazy. i had the pcv hook up to the im. i rerouted it infront of the turbo. i had seen many like that (supras, 240's etc..) in a few magazines. and it dawned on me why it was smoking.
anyone on here from around greenville nc?

you'd want to put a inline filter/catch can with your pcv so no oil gets in your turbo.
good to see it's back

the catch can is the plan for this weekend. now all i need is the mega squirt and i can be like you and turn up the boost.

yea alot of ppl do that and alot of times they actually get away with it those dumb cops ask where does it go and they make excuses like it connects under the engine or W/E the cops are pretty dumb when it comes to car stuff well most anyway

ive had my car inspected by cops who usually sit outside of the car events waiting to check people numerous times....non of them knew where that hose actually went
