need rising rate FPR??

Post by Joey's mx »

Just wondering if i would need to run a rising rate fuel pressure regulator on a vj11 set up on a DOHC B6 at around 7-8 psi??? Or would a adjustable fuel pressure regulator be good enough with bigger injectors??

I think FMU would be better..so you can run nice on boost..and not be rich as crap on idle. so yeah a rrfpr or fmu.

No an FMU is the same thing as a rrfpr (rsing rate fpr) which is just installed in series of your stock fpr. It uses boost pressure to raise the fuel pressure accordingly. For low boost operations i hear these work fine , im using one for my 4-6 psi boost configureration.

If im not mistaken, your adjustable FPR replaces your stock FPR right? If so then yes you can still use it. Just put the FMU in series with the adj FPR.

This is what you want: RRFPR is different from FMU.
