at least an amp with 500 watts RMS. Look an Class D mono amps.

JL 500/1 or 1000/1
Orion 600D or 1200D
rockford T1000BD
MTX MXA6001/8001
JBL GTO1201.1
JBL GTO601.1
JBL BPX500.1

Just to name a few. I would get an amp between 500 and 1000 rms give/take. The sub is DVC so you have to cinsider how its gonna be wired (2 ohm, 4 ohm, 1 ohm etc) in contrast to what your amp can handle (some amps can be ran lower than 4 ohms for example)

The ed nine.1 is supposed to be very good. it's rated at 1200 wrms at 1ohm and can be had pretty cheap. What voice coil setup do you have?

definetly want to go overboard with this sub!!!! check it out!!! sweet a***!!!

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/su ... er9500.cfm

ur gonna need some 2 gauge power wire, really good grounding system

I'm getting excited just writing this!!!

if the sub is the dual voice coil sub - get something that will hit 500watts at 4ohms and 1000 watts at 2ohms

if it's a single coil sub - then get something with 500-800 at 4ohms adn 1200 at 2ohms

suggest this amp -> MTX amp 81001
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/am ... r81001.cfm

here's a matching page that MTX has for the sub
http://www.mtx.com/Flash2/amps_subs8.html

enjoy the info

definetely get that baby photographed next to an mx-3!! that's a sweet look subwoofer!!! :D :D

wanted to add that u would need 8 gauge speaker wire for this sub to hit it's potential!!!! CRAZY!!!!!
