coolant fluid darkening

I recently checked my coolant and it was brown, and looked exactly like oil. I cleaned it, flushed it, and put new stuff in. 3 days later I checked it and it was the exact same color as the brown stuff? any ideas to whats going on? I have a 94 4 cyl.

possibly your headgasket went and there is oil leaking into your coolant. drain out your oil and see if there is any coolant in it.
