KFZE gasket and injector questions

I have a KFZE in my MS-8, and I am having some issues. I pulled the front plugs, and noticed that the one closest to the oil cap was black, the middle was white, and the one closest to the PCV valve was white, and coated in oil. I was told that I have a leaky VC gasket and injector. Don't really want to buy the parts here, as Japanese prices are rediculous for anything.

Anyway, I was told to check this place out and find info. If you can offer suggestions, please let me know. Like if the VC gasket crosses to anything else, in the states, so I can pick one up in December, and if there are any FAQ's that I am too noob to miss.

Yeah the valve cover gasket on that engine is the same one used on the 2.5 millenia, probe gt, mx6, and 626. Also the same one is used on the v6 mx3 as well. In other words, all k-series engines use the same valve cover gaskets. You should be able to get one in the states for cheap.

Happen to know about injectors. I think one is leaking. It would explain the 18 mpg. ALso, does NGK BK6RE sound right for plugs? Plug wires would be nice too. Oil filter would be nice also, considering they start at 8 USD here for generic stuff.

cant you use klde injectors? i think those would work. Leaking injectors IS DANGEROUS..if your wires begin to arc if WILL catch fire...i can tell you from experience..

How rough is it to get to them? the IM has to come off right? I don’t know if leaking is the right word. I just know that it’s causing my front bank to adjust, and run the other cylinders lean, and my mileage isn’t what I think it should be. I haven’t seen or smelt any fuel, I think that the injector is just leaking into the cylinder.

they come opff right away, you need a hex key, and are simple..i did it the first time in around 15 minutes. easier when the im is off...WAY easier. That way you can give a good cleaning toi your valves..use carb cleaner and a toothbrush :) mine are squeaky clean.

What needs to be changed on the injectors?

the bottom rubber seals and make sure you put the tight but dont break the bolts. If you leave a seal out it will leak.

Happen to have a part number or anything? Haven’t taken the car apart, so I don’t really know what you are referring to? it is like an o-ring?

he could use klde injectors but they will lean out his car, as the kfze injectors are the same as the klze injectors.
