I could send mine in to MMI and they can copy it and send me a fresh stainless steel set freebie so you guys could get boosted easily :)
I had already talked to them about it but for X reason we stoped talking about it.

no one seems to have asked this. any idea on what they would charge for the piping? i have always wanted to turbo the mx, but cost and complexity were the huge limiting factors. this would alleviate the burdon of complexity, but cost....?

they would cost roughly from 850 to 1000us$..I bought mine for 950 (only the exhaut piping..so expect to have complete piping (including intercooler piping) for around 1500.Not sure though about that. You guys may want to ask Abe about this (guy from MMI).
One thing is I don't think you can keep a/c if you have it and not sure if this piping would fit in stock bumper :!:

MMI pipes can be had for 775 at mx6.com's groupbuy.

http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.ph ... ost1261501

the intercooler pipes are useless so don't even bother with those.

I already asked the guy running the groupbuy how much for JUST the pipes & that brand new turbo that he includes with the kit, for us MX3 guys, he has still not gotten back to me but said he would today.

your crazy

Post by forcedairram »

You guys are crazy if youd be willing to pay 1500 for exhaust and intercooler piping...my whole turbo kit didnt cost me that much...(including exhaust, ic and piping, turbo and manifold) As far as intercooler piping goes fab up your own summit sells 90 deg and 180 deg mandrel bends pretty cheap, just cut your own !!!! spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Post by forcedairram »

any piping should be easy...its all the same thing no matter what kind of motor your car has got...cut, fit, cut again, fit , weld etc. I never said it wouldnt take time but me id rather spent my time and save a whole bunch of money
