maf/vaf

I heard the kfze in comeswith a maf... not a vaf..is this trues and can I get one anywhere???? I saw a millenia with a maf..

'shrug' mine didn't, but surely if it did come with a maf at some stage then you'd need the corresponding ecu?

I already got the kfze ecu.. would that work? and is it bolt on? (maf)

Use the stock VAF or whatever the hell comes on a GS.

if u put a maf on a k8 how much more power could u get? would it help the bottom end power alot more?

you cant just put it on, you need to get a stand alone to put one on to
control how the engine breaths and uses the maf.

well i know that or u could use the maf sensor ecu from corksport but for the money an MS would be way better. im just thinkin takin that football style vaf and puttin a maf on u would think that could give so much more power if it was tuned right especially on the bottom end where it counts most on our engine

They are not interchangable

ON the V6's
VAF -> OBDI
MAF -> OBDII

Unless you want to rewire you engine and replace the computer, just to put in a MAF, it's definitely not worth it.
