BP lack of power

Post by krishna »

Just finished the j-spec swap and it drives starts, sounds fine.
When i hit the gas it sounds like its got 5 horses behind the wheels, it slowly picks up speed and i have to shift out of first at about 10 miles an hour, second is even worse then 6000 rpm = 30 miles an hour. any thoughts?

its probly something just hooked up wrong.
the guy i bought the trans from in the first place put the clutch in backwards... and after a weeks of driving it shattered uhg... nothin like grinding tin pieces slidin around in my tranny drum.
sigh...
ill keep you updated if i fixed it or not tomorrow.

Check your air flow sensor. Also check your mechanical (if you changed a timing belt), and your electric timing.
