cold air intake

Does anyone know of any cold air intake for a '92 mx-3 1.8L? Or anything besides the restrictive factory intake.

Is your motor a swapped 1.8L 4 cyl (BP) like from a Protege or Escort GT? because the 92 4 cyl. stock engine is a 1.6L SOHC (B6). The 92 1.8L stock engine is a V6 but your thread is posted in the 4 cyl. forum. Once you're sure, click the search link at the top of this page and enter key words <cold air intake>, click <Search for all terms> and select the forum that matches your engine (4cyl or V6). Scan the search-result threads and you'll find tons of info that applies to your engine set up. btw, the 92-93 1.6L SOHC has a direct bolt on cold air intake available that is widely sold on ebay for ~$60 USD shipped. Many ppl have installed these. The 93 Acura Integra intake (also on ebay) will reportedly fit with just a little pipe cutting and runs even cheaper. You'll see a lot written via the search results along with plenty of pics. G'luck.
