Oxygen Sensors..

Post by kylekizzle »

I just ordered some O2 sensors for my klze. I am almost positive I ordered the right one but I just have a few questions to make sure. The o2 sensors for the ze are in the front and back of the engine and I was wondering if they were both the same. I looked at my old ones in my car and they seemed to look the same .. anyone have the part # I can go by just to make sure for the part #'s for NGK or Bosch. I saw both were 4 wire with a white, blue and 2 blacks and the plugins look the same for both. Can someone confirm this so I can be assured I ordered the right ones? Thanks.

heres kinda a wiring diagram for you......

Wiring harness -------- universal 4 wire

Blue /Signal -------- Black
Black/ ground -------- Green
White / heater------- Gray

i think thats about right ( just of the top of my head) plus you can use a 1 wire o2 and wire it into the blue signal wire and save your self $80 on a 4 wire o2. universal 1 wires i use come from a 1990 240sx .

Holy shat this thread is old haha, thats my old mx that is written off now. Sorry I never made the diagram. Basically there are 4 wires, 2 are heaters, 1 is a ground and one is the signal as mazdamx3freak says.

I found it

Original wiring is: (sensor point of view)

- blue -->signal
- White--> gives 12v
- 2x Black --> heater
