Post by dj inferno »

today i was driving and it was raining exstreamly hard... ne ways, the part of the road was flooded, but i saw cars going threw so i went threw too, and when i got out my car died... and wouldn't turn over for about 5-10 mins... then i let it sit for a while, and all of the sudden it started.. but it had a hard time starting... ne ways it putted and smoked a lil bit but it started and ran ruff, but ran the rest (about 1.5 miles) of the way home. did i REALLY mess ne thing up, or will it get better?
thanks

if you've got the I4, you might have gotten water in the combustion chambers. I've had it happen but going through big puddles. I just pulled the plugs out, made sure that the wires were dry, sprayed a bit of WD40 into the cylinders, and blew it out with compressed air. Did that a couple times to make sure tere was no water left, and it ran like a top.
