i think exedy is a factory replacement...you'll probably wear it out really fast...i went with ACT too.

the only reason I asked about Exedy was, when I got the Wrong Act clutch kit, I noticed that the clutch plate has Exedy stamped on it. I am just wondering if Act just get the parts from them and makes their own pressure plates for the kits. Anyone know why the clutch plate has Exedy stamped in the steel of the plate?

I know I got the wrong clutch, but why is there an Exedy clutch disc in an ACT packaged box and shrinkwrapped and labled ACT clutch disc? ACT and Exedy sister companies or what?

Exedy's clutches are made in Japan. Even the factory Mazda clutches use Exedy.

It's possible that ACT rebuilt the Exedy disc, but I don't see why because I was certain that ACT makes there own stuff.
